Walking On Water
Digital soothing drops № 13
Here’s how I learned to walk on water.
I have learned what is possible and what is not: walking on dry ground, swimming in water, looking at the sky. I have learned to accept limitations, to trust that I can explore the world safely.
I grew bigger as a living being without having to do anything about it and had to do a lot to grow within myself. I have learned how people come into being and how they die. I trusted that the order of becoming and passing away is the same for everyone.
And then my first son died before he was born [ ➠ “Silent Love”].
And with him died the trust in my previous truth and world view. If the familiar order of becoming and dying is not right, why should other rules, truths and limitations be right?
As my second son grew up, I allowed us both to try the impossible. In the picture above, he walks across the water, far from dry earth and kisses the sky, drinking the magical colours of the sunset.
Once we allow ourselves to dream, we can recognize when learned and acquired beliefs are not providing for our safety but are our prisons. That the world offers so much more freedom and small and big wonders are waiting for us at every turn.
