Feet groping, I find my way through the puddles and bumps of everyday life. A hesitant step here. A probing step there. And then these clouds gather. My horizon darkens and the weight of the moment seems to grow far beyond me.

Overshadowing.

The world turns dark and dramatic. Before me lies a vastness staring at me and I see the echo of the heavenly drama in the puddles. The weight! The towering superiority! My smallness! Helpless… Lost…

Then I notice the bird standing close to me. This makes me stop. I notice the craftsmanship of my inner director. How he skillfully shapes the little information from the environment into an epically escalating film of fate.

And I notice the bird again and ask myself: what does this tiny little creature notices about the impending drama? The bird flaps its wings, sings a few notes and takes off light-footedly, warbling fearlessly into the warm light, towards the big cloud.

Overshadowing myself!

Look again. The magic color contrast, the majestic dance of the water droplets in the sky, the serene, peaceful puddles, the vast openness. I was overshadowing myself. Again.

Stop. Leave the inner drama movie.
Step out.
Breathe.
Look.
Really look.
